Projects Overview
Fiji is a considered a proactive mining country with supportive legislation and a long history of mining, gold being a significant export for Fiji. Alice Queen currently holds one exploration license in Fiji being the highly prospective Sabeto project. Two other project licenses are currently under renewal being Viani, a highly prospective epithermal gold project, and Nabila.
The Horn Island Gold Project is an Intrusive Related Gold System (IRGS) located in the Torres Strait, Far North Queensland. The historical pit area has an existing Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE), indicated and Inferred, of 16.7Mt at 0.98 g/t Au for 524,000 ounces Au with further potential extensions open to the NW. Horn Island is serviced by an airport, port, sealed roads and daily flights and shipping.
In the Lachlan Fold Belt in New South Wales, Alice Queen is exploring multiple large-scale copper-gold targets with potential to be substantial porphyry systems. The Company currently has two highly prospective projects in the Lachlan Fold Belt, Mendooran and Boda East.
